You're going to hear the backhanded superlatives: "geek heaven" and "board game nerdtopia." That ain't half the story.Vault Of Midnight should be enshrined as the coolest retail joint in Ann Arbor. Period. Owner Curtis Sullivan has let his freak flag fly high and created a store filled with so much friggin' great eye candy it's ridiculous. There is something for everyone here. Games, ugly dolls, cool figurines, books you never heard of, and, yes, lots and lots of comics.
Ignore Oprah's latest memoir recommendation (they're lying anyway) and check out Joe Sacco, Art Spiegleman, Neil Gaiman and Brian K. Vaughn. Never heard of em? Well, they never heard of you either. Just ask Curtis to turn you onto something cool. It's not all guys in tights, you know.
