Necto is big enough to snag the occasional international DJ, but small enough to not get lost looking for the bathrooms. It�s a typical college town dance club serving fishbowls of neon-colored drinks, but it is the perfect place to get lost in a pond (�sea� might be too large a metaphor) of gyrating co-eds if you�ve just got to burn calories at 11:30PM. Two levels and multiple DJs keep the pulse varied; this isn�t the place for quiet conversation. In the summer a hidden outdoor patio (and fifth bar) is a welcome timeout from the massive bpm. The bathroom antics are legendary--they should charge admission.

FRIDAY NIGHT: It's Pride Night. The basement red-room features classic music videos and retro-pop, and the crowd shifts to more mature and homosexual, while the main floor features high-energy dance mixes to the delight of throngs of gyrating coeds. Despite no cover before 10:00, and happy hour prices from 9:00-11:00, the crowd usually doesn't show until 11:30.
