Dynamic, Ann Arbor-based Software Company has an immediate opportunity in its Product Development group. SCOPE: Develop cutting-edge, next-generation publishing applications within an aggressive timeframe; Develop powerful, stable, and easy-to-use content management applications; Assist in debugging and troubleshooting applications; Work with other engineers, developers, architects, QA, system engineers and product managers in solving new and existing technical issues. The ideal person will have experience in a fast-paced online environment, experience working with media clients and advertisers, a head for business as well as technology and a drive to move into progressively more challenging roles.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, computer technology, communications or related field; 3+ years of experience in web application development and implementation; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Team-oriented experience highly desired; Superb attention to detail; Stays current with rapidly changing technology and applies it to business needs; Very good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience: Must be able to work effectively as part of a project and foster team cooperation; Must be able to communicate (written and verbally) technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel (clients and coworkers); User Interface design skill and experience; Understands basic web design practices and effectively implement creative design and/or style guidelines in to applications and solutions. Tech Skills (Required): 3+ years of Java and Object Oriented programming experience; Experience with modern dependency injection and component-based programming frameworks; Experience with Java Persistence and RDBMS; Experience managing and deploying to Java EE 5/6 Application Servers; Experience writing unit tests, integrating code coverage and performing static analysis; Strong experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle. Tech Skills (Desired): Experience with Java EE 6 technologies, such as JAX-RS, CDI (JSR-299), EJB 3.1 and Servlet 3.0; Load testing and profiling server-based applications; Experience with programming highly concurrent applications; strong knowledge of Java threading and the memory model; Experience with localization and internationalization; Experience in building web interfaces, using HTML / XHMTL, DHTML, CSS1 / CSS2, JavaScript, XSL and Web Standards-based layout; Experience with CMS (Content Management Systems; Experience with SaaS; Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, creating and consuming SOAP and / or RESTful Web Services; Experience with Flex, GWT, or other Rich Internet application frameworks; Experience with C / C++.
