Description:Apply engineering and life science research techniques to help develop, characterize, and fabricate cutting edge materials for implantable medical devices. Prepare reports and documentation based on experimental results. You will learn about medical device development and commercialization and gain experience with laboratory research methods. Working with the Biotectix team, you will contribute to the success of a UM start-up and the advancement of implantable medical devices.
Requirements:B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Other Engineering; Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply; Laboratory research experience strongly preferred; Experience with computer programming including MATLAB is helpful; Experience with electrical circuit design and testing is helpful.
