More and more people in Washtenaw County
are taking to the streets in anything but their cars as part of Curb Your Car
Month. The initiative hopes to encourage more people to walk, run, bike, bus
and take more trains to help improve their environment and health.

Woodwrights in Curb
Your Car Month in Ann Arbor this year.
"I really wasn't thinking that they were going to be

design, building and remodeling company.

Tucker, who has committed herself to walking to work 10 times during the month.

consciousness about alternatives to commuting by private automobile. The
month-long program features walk, bike, bus and car-pool days, among other
events.
