ADR expects huge growth in Ann Arbor, looking for 3-4 people
Concentrate, 8/13/2008
ADR North America
isn't just expecting a little growth here and there. The high-tech Ann Arbor consulting firm expects "huge growth" this year.
"We have been growing very, very quickly," says Bill Michels, CEO of ADR North America.
How much growth? Try 40 percent growth in sales and revenue in recent years. The firm now employs 11 people, most of which are in Ann Arbor. It is also looking for 3-4 new people for its Tree Town offices.
Even though ADR opened its North American office in Whitmore Lake 20 years ago, it chose to move to Ann Arbor because of its proximity to Metro Airport.
"The most important thing is the airport," Michels says. "You can go anywhere in the world from Metro Airport."
The company originally started helping small- to mid-sized companies figure out the best technology to use and how to maximize it. It has since evolved to helping out bigger companies, such as Microsoft.
