A place known for all the colors of the rainbow is about to become known for one primary color – green.
The people behind the new State Bank of Ann Arbor are leasing out the old Anderson Paint Company building at 125 W William St., in downtown Ann Arbor. The building sold to an investor in the Ann Arbor area for $1.8 million. The State Bank of Ann Arbor will occupy all 9,526 square feet of the structure.
The building is adjacent to the BP gas station on the southern end of downtown. It was built in 1974 and is one of the few suburban-style buildings in the central business district. Anderson Paint has been the primary occupant of the structure.
John Arndt with Edward Surovell Realtors handled the deal for the buyer while McKinley Associates represented the sellers.
